Nursery Summer Pool Party
8th May 2018
We had a lovely time at our Summer Pool Party. All of the children had a super day. Everyone joined in with the fun. It was wonderful watching the all of the children so engaged. They thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
Noah C, who attends in the afternoons, said 'This is the best party I've ever been to!'.
What an amazing Spring term we have had. We have covered a Winter topic, a Superhero topic and our best yet, our 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' topic. We have enjoyed witnessing the growth of our very own caterpillars and have learned so much about the life cycle of a butterfly. The caterpillars have now started to cocoon so it looks like they might turn into beautiful butterflies over Easter. Photographs will be added so that everyone will be able to watch the changes.
The children have been working so hard to learn how to write their name. They really enjoy the challenge and we are so pleased with the progress that the children have made. They really are amazing!
Some of the children now have reading books, ready for when they reach Reception in September and they are all beginning to read amazingly well. It is lovely to see the children enjoying reading and excited about sharing books.
