The PE Apprentice, Harry Rhodes, who is currently in school, is here to aid teachers in all aspects of learning. Harry is in school for 4 out of the 5 days a week, as he spends 1 day a week at college learning about all the different aspects of school for his course, which he will have completed by the end of the school year. For those 4 days that he is here, he also referees for each year at lunch time play for football or baskeball and supports after school clubs.
The course that Harry is doing is a Level 3 'Supporting Teaching and Learning in Physical Education and School Sports'. This course provides an opportunity for young people to work in primary or secondary schools to aid teachers in lessons and deliver PE sessions and run clubs.
This is a great opportunity for the apprentice, children and staff!
