Maths Homework

As well as the weekly spellings, children are expected to complete their multiplication homework every week. It is a really important area that we focus on at school as it has a massive impact on the learning in school and beyond.

Children are set the multiplication task on Friday and are expected to hand in their homework by the next Friday. They can complete at any time during the week. Once completed, children can drop their homework into the 'Homework Tray' for safekeeping for the remainder of the week.

If children do not hand in their homework by this time then they will be expected to complete it in their own time during first play. Children can also earn a Dojo point for each piece of homework they complete.

It is also an expectation that children read every night - either by themselves or with an adult. All children have a reading record that can be signed by an adult so that they can earn a Dojo point for every time they read at home.

Our attendance winners for this week are Class 1M with 97% and Class 5M with 99%! Well done for helping us towards our school target of 96%
