Children will be set two pieces of homework every Friday - multiplication tables and spellings, as these are two key focus areas for us in school that help children across all of their learning in school and beyond.
This will be expected in the following Wednesday. Children can also earn a Dojo point for each piece of homework they complete. If children do not hand in their homework by this time then they will be expected to complete in in their own time during first play.
It is also an expectation that children read every night - either by themselves or with an adult. All children have a reading record that can be signed by an adult so that they can earn a Dojo point for every time they read at home.
