Welcome to Year 2! 

In Year 2 we have Class 2M and Class 2H.

Class 2M has 29 fantastic children, our teacher is Mrs Martt.

Class 2H has 26 wonderful children, our teacher is Mr Hall.

We are lucky to have Mrs Miles in class from Tuesday afternoon to Friday, Miss Ruth from Monday to Friday lunchtime, Mrs Powdrill every morning and Mrs Morley on Tuesdays. 

On a Thursday afternoon we have PE with Mr Kenney and Music with Miss Ruth and Mrs Miles . We also have PE on Monday with Mr Hall.

Hi everyone,
Well it's been great to be back in the classroom this last 3 weeks. Your children have been working really hard and it's lovely to see the progress they are making.
Next week we are going to be completing our building bridges project. We've had lots of fun finding out about inventors and engineers, also investigating the strength of different shapes and types of paper bridges.
It has been decided that Year 2 children will once again be involved in the KS1 SATs. We keep it very low key and just treat them as more activities to complete. These are usually completed during the month of May so please try to ensure your child is in school for the whole of that month. There is a short Powerpoint below that explains things a little more but please let us know if you have any questions. There is a link to past papers on the PPT for you to have a look at to see what is expected.
Just a reminder that Friday is an inset day so we break up for half term on Thursday.
