We are amazing at art in Year 2! We have been learning about the sculptor, photographer and environmentalist Andy Goldsworthy, who creates his artwork in many different settings using natural materials. We really enjoyed making our own Andy Goldsworthy-inspired natural sculptures and spiral stone artwork.

Uniform

Our uniform is a red cardigan or jumper, a white or red t-shirt and black trousers, skirt or pinafore dress. In the summer children can wear shorts or a summer dress. School shoes should be black and have no heel.

PE Kit

We love taking part in all sorts of PE and sports activities. We wear PE kit to make sure we are ready to get moving and be our best selves!

Our Learning Journey Work

In Year 2 we explore a variety of exciting subjects and each term we create a learning journey display of all of our work. Last term we found out about how plants grow and how they help ourselves the planet. This term we are exploring 'How the past can effect the future'.
