Homework
Every Friday, children will be given two pieces of homework; one piece of GPAS/writing and one piece of mathematics. Children will be expected to bring their mathematics homework in on a Wednesday and their GPAS/writing homework in on a Thursday.
Reading and Spellings
Each week we expect children to read at home in the presence of an adult at least once a day for a minimum of 10 minutes. Children have been given a reading diary that will be checked weekly on a Friday for seven signatures from an adult at home, indicating that the child has read at least once a day. Furthermore, children will be given ten new spellings every Friday to learn at home in preparation for a test the following Friday.
