Please meet the Stanhope Primary and Nursery School Safeguarding Team

Safeguarding our pupils is paramount at Stanhope Primary and Nursery School.

We work hard to ensure that all pupils feel safe and valued, in a nurturing and secure environment.

We work in collaboration with many other agencies to ensure all of our pupils remain safe and can reach their potential. 

All staff and governors are trained in safeguarding and child protection, and follow the school's safeguarding policy (which can be found in the policies section of this website) and are committed to the principles outlined in 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'.

We have a dedicated team who are trained in dealing with safeguarding concerns.

The procedures contained in our policies apply to all staff, volunteers and governors at Stanhope Primary and Nursery School and are consistent with those of Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (NSCP)
