Year 6
Welcome to Year 6!
There are three year 6 classes at Stanhope: 6W, 6A & 6P.
6W’s class teacher is Mrs Wright 6A’s class teacher is Miss Ashworth and 6P are taught by Miss Parker. Our teaching assistants are Lucky and Toni.
On Wednesdays, Mr Kenney and Mr Woolley take our PE lessons. Children should come to school in their PE kit on Wednesdays and Fridays - when PE is taught by class teachers. Our PE kit comprises of: white t shirt, black shorts (weather permitting), black joggers, leggings and black or red sweatshirt. Please do not send your child to school in clothing with logos or slogans nor football kits.
We send spellings home weekly, which should be learned for our spelling test the following week. We are also locked in a continuous battle to see which Year 6 class really is the top of the charts on Times Table Rockstars! We also have online maths activities available for children on Prodigy Maths. For any logins you may need, please contact your child's teacher.
