At Stanhope, the external gates will open at 8:35am for a ten minute window to allow you to drop your child off at school. A member of staff will meet the children and escort the to the class room, the children make their way straight into their classroom where they are greeted by their class teacher. Registration is at 8:45am. Lessons begin promptly after registration and it is important that lessons are not disrupted by late arrivals as children who are late miss important introductions to lessons.
All children from KS1 upwards have a 15 minutes morning playtime. Our Early Years children don’t have an official breaktime as they have access to the continued outdoor provision throughout the day. Lunch is from 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm.
At 3.25pm parents collect their children from their designated gate.

Please note for the safety of those with a nut allergy, we are a completely nut free school. Do not send any items that contain nuts in packed lunches.
Children are encouraged to drink plenty of water every day to 'hydrate and feel great'. Good hydration improves mood, memory and attention in children please send them in with a full, named water bottle every day and note we do not allow juice, squash or fizzy drinks in the classroom - though they may bring a small juice carton in as part of their lunch box.
